Welcome to Condensed Matter Theory Group (Sc-Lab)!
The wealth of physical phenomena in materials is a major research topic
in modern physics. When "infinite number of quantum particles"
interact each other strongly, unexpected new "physical phenomena"
emerge. These studies are called "condensed matter physics" and
are actively studied around the world. We are engaged in theoretical research
to elucidate new physics in condensed matter, such as unconventional superconductivity
and quantum phase transitions, based on quantum mechanics and statistical
mechanics.
In Sc-Lab, we study rich physical phenomena in strongly correlated electron
systems. We are interested in both the universality and the diversity in
condensed matter based on the field theoretical approaches. Please see
